About us

Hello, My name is Geoff and I am the owner of Rainbow Rovers. I have lived with Dogs all my life and could never see myself not being involved with them. My best fur friend is Oscar, he is now 3 and I have known him since he was a little bub. Some of my most precious moments have been in his company. He accompanies me on the majority of my experiences and loves making new fur friends

Because of this love for animals i have decided over the years to make it my business, as the ability to combine my passion and place of work was one i could not ignore

Places we go

Rainbow Rovers is based in Kew and I visit a variety of Dog friendly locations within and around the surrounding suburbs

On warmer days I will take your Rover to water based locations which include the Dog friendly beaches and creeks of Melbourne

I currently service the suburbs of Kew, Kew East, Ivanhoe, Fairfield, Northcote, Thornbury, Brunswick, Brunswick East, Fitzroy, Carlton, Collingwood, Richmond, Burnley, Hawthorn, Hawthorn East, Camberwell and Balwyn

* I'm more then happy to discuss going to suburbs further out but there could be an increase in rate due to petrol charges and it depends on availability*

*Please note that I will towel dry your Rover before returning them home if I visit a water based location*

Prices

The Group Experience

I will take your Rover to frolic, swim and enjoy a variety of beautiful locations, parks, beaches and reserves around Melbourne with other Rovers

$30 an hour Monday to Friday

Each additional Rover is $10

Price includes:

- Pick up and drop off from your home or place of work

- One hour group session with other furry friends

- Basic obedience & fetch training

- Multiple locations used throughout the week

- Groups of only four Rovers, five with Oscar, so your furry friend gets the attention they deserve (Smaller groups for larger Rovers)

Rover Relax

We offer the option to have your fur friend bathed at your place or mine while you are at work

$20 per rover

Each additional rover is $10

Price includes:

- Dog shampoo and spray with dog scent to suit your Rover

- Towel dry followed by fur dryer with Rover friendly fur dryer

- Treats and cuddles included

*Price will be $10 more per Rover for Rovers with long fur as it takes a long time to get them dry*

The Overnight Experience

When your fur friend needs someone to look after them for the night when your away. I will come and stay at your place and look after your best friend or friends, enquiries welcome

$60 per night

Each additional dog is $20

Price includes:

- Feeding your fur friend breakfast and dinner (also any medications)

- Taking them out for a walk twice a day

- Cleaning up after them

- Putting bins out and collecting mail

- Sleep over to keep your best friend company

Comfort Creator

When your fur friend needs to be looked after while your on holiday but doesn't need someone staying the night

$40 per day
